Dr. Hal Miner earned his doctorate in Theology Studies from California Pacific School of Theology in 1998 following a 28-year career in healthcare administration for Kaiser Permanente.
His passion is teaching the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, as well as exploring archaeological proofs of the Bible, and the Jewish Roots of Christianity.
Dr. Miner has serverd as the Administrative Pastor, Director of Biblical Studies of Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch, CA, providing administration over all support and facility services.
Later he became the Pastoral Director of Shepherd Bible Institute, developing the courses and seminars for the program.
He also served as the Assistant Director of the Biblical and American Archaeological Society in Northridge, CA.
Dr. Miner has served as a Progessor at Shepherd University in Los Angeles, CA (no relation to Shepherd of the Hills Church) and continues to be a guest preacher at Beth Emunah Messianic Synagogue as well as other local churches.
In addition, he has co-led multiple Historical and Archaeological surveys through Israel, Italy, and Greece as well as Paleontology Digs at Shark Tooth Hill in Bakersfield.
He has been married for 36 years and has a married son and one granddaughter.
