Dr. George Bell

Dr. Bell has served as past Vice-President of Men's Ministries Union Rescue Mission, including: Service as Senior Program Director, overseeing Guest services for men; the Men's Christian Life Discipleship Program which includes a holistic approach to restoration through recovery, counseling, and discipleship.

In addition to his ministry directly at Union Rescue Mission, Dr. Bell has conducted seminars for the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions (A.G.R.M, formerly the I.U.G.M.), and the Christian Ministries Training Association (C.M.T.A.). Subjects include, Healing the Affects of Toxic Shame, Exposing Betrayal Bonds, Healing the Affects of Grief & Loss, The Affects of Father Loss, and Case Management in Recovery, among many other relative subjects on healing; and has been active in outreach ministry and foreign/domestic missions for 23 years.

Dr. Bell is Founder and President of Ekklesia Christian Outreach, (E.C.O.)...Dr. Bell conducts community outreaches, conferences, rallies, and subsidizing food and clothing to the under-served. He continues to develop comprehensive rescue programs, and outreach ministry for churches in the inner city, providing evangelistic/recovery strategies in urban settings. Training includes leadership, evangelism, follow-up strategies, and how to provide resource networks for the needy. In addition, Dr. Bell has served as Chaplain for Dream Builders Inc., which travels abroad with College Basketball Association (C.B.A) players and professional free agents from the NBA in order to place them on international professional basketball teams in China, Germany, Japan, Brazil, and many more countries.

Dr. Bell has also served as Chaplain Coordinator for the A.B.A. League, Southern California Surf, in Anaheim CA. Dr. Bell has served as an adjunct professor at a number of Christian school and seminaries, teaching subjects such as Beginning Greek Grammar, Classical Hebrew, Biblical Counseling, Missiology, New Testament Survey, Leadership Strategies for the 21st Century, and Christian Recovery Models.

Before giving his life to Christ, Dr. Bell along with author, Lerone Bennett, and activist Julian Bond, Ron Karanga, Andrew Young, and musical artist Stevie Wonder represented the U.S. at Festac, an International Arts and Cultural Festival in Nigeria, Africa. Dr. Bell has accompanied stage artists such Lena Horne, Clifton Davis, as well as performing as a touring and studio musician for Motown and Twentieth Century recording artists. After receiving Christ, he continued his musical career with Christian artists Brenda Halloway, Sandra Crouch, Jon Gibson, and many others.
